NONI JUICE
PROCESSING METHOD
- The noni fruit are harvested when it is ripe,
yellow in colour and still hard
- After harvest the fruit is washed and stored
in food grade plastic barrels for 12 weeks.
A process called maceration similar to fermentation.
- After 3 months the macerated soft fruit is
fed into a gland press where the juice is extracted.
- The extracted juice is filtered and fine filtered.
- It is then pasteurized. Taking the juice to
a temperature of 80 degrees celsius, then it
is cooled to room temperature.
- As the juice passes through the pasteurizer,
it is pumped straight into 1,000 litre packaging
ready for export.
INGREDIENTS
- Pure noni fruit extract.
- No water.
- No additives.
- No preservatives.
- Nothing is added to the product.
From each batch, a sample is taken
to the Rarotonga Hospital Laboratory to be analyzed
to ensure that the juice is free from Coliform and
Fascal Coliform. The Health Certificate indicates
that the juice is safe for human consumption.
